Gurdip has worked in the financial services industry for the last 35 years of which the last 11
years have been as a Mortgage and Protection Broker.

Gurdip has worked in the financial services industry for the last 35 years of which the last 11
years have been as a Mortgage and Protection Broker.
Gurdip started working for Barclays Bank after leaving college and worked her way through several roles including cashiering, personal banking and managing branches before becoming a Mortgage Advisor in 2015 having completed her CeMAP qualifications.
Gurdip made the difficult decisions to leave in September 2018 to set up her own Broking firm GKL Mortgage and Protection Brokers, but has not looked back since. Gurdip has helped numerous clients in the home buying journey and remortgaging as well as arranging protection to ensure that should the worst happen, that they are able to be financially secure and remain in their home.
Gurdip is very passionate about ensuring her clients are looked after and receive an outstanding experience with her wealth of industry knowledge.
Gurdip is happily married to Bal and has 3 children Regina, Jasmine and Sam. She enjoys spending time with family, taking much needed time to go away on holidays, going out and walking to keep fit.
Recently Gurdip moved from working at her home office to the new Premises at 28 Hermitage Road, Hitchin where she welcomes both new and existing clients.

Angela has been with GKL mortgages since May 2022, initially as a mortgage administrator, a role that fitted in with caring for her two young children. With a bit more time on her hands Angela is now specialising primarily in will writing and protection for life and critical illness.

Angela has been with GKL mortgages since May 2022, initially as a mortgage administrator, a role that fitted in with caring for her two young children. With a bit more time on her hands Angela is now specialising primarily in will writing and protection for life and critical illness.
Prior to working at GKL Angela worked for Barclays for over 19 years in various different roles. Angela understands how important it is for people to have adequate protection in place against any loss of income and is passionate about educating people on how to go about it.

Annabel is GKL’s most recent addition and she supports Gurdip in all aspects of financial administration, marketing and social media.
With a varied career in media, events and copywriting, Annabel decided to look for a local role that fitted around the demands of her 11 and 9 year old daughters and their busy schedules.
Outside of work and parenting Annabel loves socialising and being active.
